(Ryman Div One North)
HARLOW Town could be promoted tomorrow as they face AFC Sudbury in the play-off final and manager Ryan Kirby is calling on Harlow residents to come out and support their home club.
The biggest Barrows Farm crowd of the year looked on last weekend as four Hawks goals in the final nine minutes of their regular season saw them beat Waltham Forest to secure the League runners-up spot and a place in the final thanks to disqualified Maldon.
Kirby said: "There is a real buzz about the place. It's exciting for the players.
"There was a great atmosphere last weekend and let's hope it will be even better as word of mouth spreads and the town gets behind us.
He added: "We have gone through various patches this season, but now we're look like we're back to our best at the right time."
Gary Wraight hit the post from eight yards after 20 minutes and Williams' shot from the rebound deflected inches over the goal. Kenny Davis' close-range effort struck the underside of the bar, as Harlow got the better of the first half.
The Hawks dominance paid off four minutes before the break when Davis fired past Forest keeper Jason Willis.
The visitors seized control in the second period however. Stags skipper Ryan Oliva headed just past the post in the 53rd minute and put the ball in the net a minute later although it was ruled out for a foul on the keeper.
Jeff Hammond equalised in the 68th minute finishing an excellent solo run by lobbing keeper James Hassell.
The home side never gave up and went ahead nine minutes from time when Williams side-footed home to open the floodgates.
Williams was twice fouled in the box and Mark Taylor fired home from the spot to make it 4-1, before Forest's Matt Waldron turned Williams' cross into his own net to settle the score.
Waldron's misery was completed when he was red-carded for an incident with James Bunn in the dying seconds.
