FIRE crews were called to tackle fire in a lorry on the M11 on Friday.
Two Harlow-based fire engines spent about half-an-hour extinguishing the blaze in the back of an articulated lorry on the northbound carriageway between junction 7 (Harlow) and junction 8 (Stansted).
Fire-fighters donned breathing apparatus to get close to the smoke-logged vehicle.
The incident caused some disruption to rush-hour traffic.
