Risley leads Stortford home in Lea Valley 10km

THREE Bishop’s Stortford Running Club members competed in the Lea Valley 10km on Sunday.
Darren Risley was first home for the club in 49mins 50secs.
He was followed by Mary Amos in 64mins 29secs, and Karen Risley in 68mins 01sec.
Elsewhere, four members represented the club in the Felsted 10km.
Despite the warm conditions and an undulating course, Graham Statter finished in a time of 43:45.
He was closely followed by Peter Allen (44mins 17secs), Ian Rodgers (45mins 28secs) and Ian McClymont (49mins 09secs).
Meanwhile, Garry Steel ran in the Great Bentley five-mile race on Friday evening, finishing in a time of 31mins 26secs.
